Raissa (pronounced hi-ee-ssa), the founder, is from Rio de Janerio, Brazil and moved to Victoria, British Columbia to attend performing arts school in 2015. She funded her move by teaching dance as well as making and selling baked goods - and the famous brigadeiro in Brazil.  
Baking, acting, dancing and singing, are her passions. She has always loved the creativity that comes from baking, in experimenting with new ingredients and coming up with new recipes.

Bombom is now available in limited drops online - keep your eye on the Instagram account @bombombakingco - and live at farmer's markets around the GTA (coming up). We pride ourselves on quality, and are so excited to bring unique, and delicious, Brazilian flavours to Canada!
